The main objective of the consultation meeting was to bring key stakeholder representatives from industry, alumni, research, development partners and civil society to met university and faculty staff to review the agricultural and forestry education in Cameroon, Ghana and Nigeria. Notably present were the Honorables Rector of the University of Dschang, Dean of Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences and representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture - Cameroon, the Food and Agricultural Organisation.
The meeting successfully incorporated comments and inputs from all participants on
- Skills the industry and community need from graduates
- Relevant areas of research in agriculture & forestry
This consultation meeting will contribute concretely to curriculum reform in the departments and faculties of the University of Dschang, University of Ghana & Federal University of Technology, Akure.
