Addressing the need to identify labour-market needs, the AFOLM project engaged stakeholders and teaching staff in order to develop curricula that reflect current and future challenges. The project has also provided an opportunity for staff to learn from each other in themes such as curriculum building, e-learning and strategic management.
This AFOLM meeting showcases the curricula developed at all three partner universities of Dschang, FUTA and Ghana. Attendees also have the opportunity to listen to experts speak on the roles climate change and information technology have agriculture and forestry. The meeting will be useful for future students, agricultural practitioners and government officials to meet and find out how the three partner universities intend to face the opportunities of agriculture and forestry in the 21st century.
