Skills upgrading for university managers and professors are inherent to improving the quality of education in agriculture and forestry. There is need to compare university and department experiences in management as well as to compare practices in new teaching approaches such as e-learning.
This AFOLM workshop specifically addresses the themes in university/department management and e-learning. Visit and experience-sharing sessions are provided to review themes such as strategic planning, programming a common study plan, issues in mobility. A parallel training session was also held on e-learing. I.T managers and/or professors involved in e-learning courses will have an opportunity to review selected tools and approaches in e-learning.
Objectives
To contribute to the continued enhancement of agriculture/forestry education in AFOLM partner institutions
Specifically, to provide AFOLM representatives with opportunities to
- Share experiences in strategic planning & mobility programming
- Review and upgrade tools/approaches in e-learning
Outputs
Expected results:
- Shared experiences in strategic planning & mobility programming
- Enhanced awareness of approaches and issues in strategic planning & mobility programming
- Updated skills in e-learning
